VIDEO: Manchester United confirmed their place in the Quater final of the Europa League with 2-1 victory over Lask

Manchester United confirmed their place in the last eight of the Europa League with a 2-1 win over LASK at Old Trafford.

Goals from Odion Ighalo, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira in Austria five months ago meant United were as good as guaranteed a place in the quarter-finals going into the match, and they secured a 7-1 aggregate win at home, coming from behind to emerge victorious on the night through goals from Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

Solskjaer named a second-string side against LASK and the performance lacked fluidity, but Lingard's display was a positive, while there was also a senior debut for young defender Teden Mengi in the closing stages.

United will face Copenhagen in the next round in Cologne on August 10 after the Danish side beat Istanbul Basaksehir 3-0 on the night and 3-1 on aggregate.
